William (Bill) Robert Ellich, 83, of Albany, Oregon passed away peacefully at his home on July 18, 2026.
Bill was born in DeLand, Florida on January 21, 1943. He was married to Carolyn Kay Vann on September 7, 1963, in Stevenson, Washington.
He served in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Policeman and Honor Guard for President J.F.K. He served at the Lackland AFB in Texas, the U.S. AFB in Bermuda and in the 689th Radar Squadron at Mt. Hebo AFS in Oregon. He also served in the Oregon Air National Guard. Bill worked at Teledyne Wah Chang for many years and retired in 1997. He was also a long standing member of the ELKS and a league bowler. He loved adventures, family, animals, and to make people laugh.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, his daughter AnnaMarie Jarmer and her husand Scott, his son William (Bill) Robert Ellich, Jr. and his wife Kimberly, and his son John Arthur Ellich and his wife Barbara. 9 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by 1 Great Grandson.
Graveside services will be held at Greencrest Memorial Cemetery in Sheridan, Oregon on Friday, July 24, 2026 at 1 p.m.
