Rebecca (Becky) Joyce Slack Halverson of Willamina, Oregon went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2026. She was 76 years old. She was born on October 29, 1949 in Dallas, Oregon to Lavern Carl and Retha Frances (Lefever) Slack.
She married Allan Halverson, on April 27, 1968 and together they raised five children and were lovingly referred to as Nama and Papa by their grandchildren.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents Vern and Retha Slack.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Allan of Willamina, OR; sons: Lance Halverson of Bristol, VA, Brenton (Kim) Halverson of McMinnville, OR, Tyson (Brenda) Halverson of McMinnville, OR; daughters: Melandy (David) Misenheimer of Sheridan, OR, and Heidi Halverson of Willamina, OR; twenty grandchildren: Kalae, Judah, Tovyah, Micaiah, Verity, Kellen, Kaitlyn, Hannah, Shylar, Lodi, Cody, Zach, Tristan, Ashlyn, Nietzsche, Enya, Caleb, Scarlett, Emery, and Lettie; nine great grandchildren: Monte, Riley, Mady, Tilly, Reed, Hayden, Marlee, Kinzley, and Weston; three sisters: Andrea Mobley of McAllen, TX, Terry Goforth Ray of Willamina, OR, and Vickie Fullmer of Marcola, OR.
Services will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, 11am, at Timber Hill Christian Church, 118 NE 4th Street, McMinnville, OR.
