Kenneth, known as Jim, Ken, and Kenny, passed away at the West Valley Medical Center on Monday, May 23, 2022.  He was a beloved father, grandfather, and friend.

Kenneth (Jim) was born in Salem, Oregon to Evelyn R (Hoke) and Kenneth Hendricks.  He was drafted in the Army in 1967 and served in Germany for most of his enlistment.  He would retire after 35 years with Georgia Pacific in Toledo, Oregon.

For many years Kenneth (Jim) would volunteer his time to support the Oregon Coast Veterans Association (OCVA), to include medical transport of Veterans.  At the time of his death he was the Vice President of the OCVA.  He was a motorcycle enthusiast and treasured the many days on the road with his friends and his bike.  In his later life, he loved playing cards with family and friends.

His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.  He had a special spot in his heart for every one of his grandchildren...and they knew it.  He truly cherished the moments he had with his family.  He was a kind, loving man with an incredible wealth of knowledge who touched the heart of everyone he knew. He will be truly missed.

Kenneth (Jim) leaves to cherish in his memory his partner and friend, Barbara Hoskins of Sheridan; siblings Mark, Chris, Michelle, Violet, Vern, and Robert; children Sherri (Mark) Erickson, Deb (Don) Lindberg, and Jody Cook; grandchildren Dustin, Kevin, and Sara Erickson, Cody Thalman, Noah Estes, Travis Cook, Brittney Barnett; great grandchildren Devon Barnett, Gage Frick and Nayson Cook; and friends who loved him dearly.

Kenneth (Jim) was preceded in death by his son Evan, his wife, Patti, and his brother Steven.

Memorial services with military honors will be held Saturday, June 25th, from 12:00 - 4:00pm at the Siletz Valley Grange in Siletz, OR.   His ashes will be spread in Valsetz later this summer. ****************************************************************
