With new owners comes additional staff to make sure our community has the depth of service necessary to provide the services that a "Full Service" funeral home offers.

A Little History

Maurice and Nina Adamson purchased what is now West Valley Funeral Home more than 55 years ago from Mr. Hyder. Val Adamson assumed responsibility for managing the family business in about 1983. Adamson's then was purchased by the Macy and Son Funeral Directors effective January 1, 2018. Green Crest Memorial Park continues to be owned and operated by the Adamson Family.

Macy's vision for our local funeral home is to build upon the foundation laid by former owners and staff  by adding the resources of a bigger funeral home to better reach out and serve the West Valley, Sheridan, Willamina and Grand Ronde. Service will continue to be locally offered at 108 NW Lincoln. Already substantial investment has been made to upgrade the audio and video equipment in our chapel, and new signage as of September of 2018.
