On May 29, 1946 Jim Belt Lash was born to his parents William and Margaret Lash.
Jim grew up in Gilchrist, Oregon with his dad, mom, and sister Sharon. He graduated from Gilchrist High School. While in Gilchrist he worked for the Forest Service and helped his Dad plow the roads at night from snow. Jim retired from CH2MHill after 45 years as a Constructional Engineer.
Jim and Vonnie coached their kids in soccer, basketball, and softball. He enjoyed traveling with his wife of 55 years in their fifth wheel trailer. He also enjoyed fishing, bowling, and golf.
Jim is proceeded by his mom Margaret (Peg) Lash, his dad William (Bill) Lash. He is survived by his wife Yvonne (Vonnie) Lash, sister Sharon Krupicka, and his kids Eric and Tammy Lash.
The family will be having a memorial service at Southwest Hills Baptist Church at 9100 SW
135th Ave, Beaverton, OR on July 18, 2026 at 1:00 pm.
