Brian Purrone

November 14, 1944 - April 2, 2019

Brian Purrone was born on Nov. 14, 1944 to Adolph and Marion Purrone in Trumbull, Connecticut.
He had two brothers, Christopher and Alan.

On August 21st, 1968 Brian married Jackline Lukasik. The couple lived in California until about 1978 when they moved to Oregon. They made their home in Dallas, Turner and finally in Sheridan where they lived on Cherry Hill Road.

Brian worked as a computer programmer in the era of punch cards and after moving to Oregon worked for Fred Meyer.

His love for collecting, restoring and selling antique toys, especially model rail roads transitioned into a new career buying and selling his finds.

As a hunter he became interested in guns and became part owner of the famed Ballston Gun Shop along with Larry Vaterlaus.  His son Brian Jr. also worked in the shop with him. Among other things he loved to travel and later in life purchased a new Mustang that became his ride as he took road trips around the US.

Brian will be remembered  as a solid person to whom you could speak and receive good words of advice.

Brian Purrone is survived by his wife Jackline; Brother Christopher; son Brian Jr. and daughter Patricia;
Four grandchildren: Justin, Jason, Jeremy and Hayden and also many great grandchildren.

His parents, brother Alan and granddaughter Jeena precede him.
Brian Purrone passed from this life on April 2, 2019 and will be very much missed.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday April 13, 2019 - 11:00 AM - Buck Hollow Cemetery Willamina, Oregon
