April 3, 1953 - August 2, 2020
Dallas Gail Spencer, lost his battle with cancer on August 2, 2020, at the age of 67. He passed peacefully in his sleep at home. He leaves behind his wife, Elizabeth Hawk, daughter Jade Spencer, son Jason Spencer and step-daughter Ramona Johnson.
Dallas was born on April 3, 1953 at McMinnville Hospital to father Dallas C. Spencer and mother Ardelle Thomson Spencer. He grew up with one brother, Dave Spencer, also of Sheridan. Dallas graduated in 1971 from Sheridan High School. He then attended upholstery school in Portland, OR. Upon completion he entered into an upholstery business in Tigard, OR, where he stayed for 40+ years. He resided in Molalla until moving back to Sheridan in 1998.
Dallas was a devoted husband and father. He enjoyed spending time with his grand kids and great-grandchildren. Dallas loved working outside on the yard with his dog, Alex at his side. Many nights he could be found watching sports, never missing a Trailblazers game. Dallas was a Mopar and Blues music enthusiast. He remained a brave, kindhearted man throughout his illness. He will be deeply missed by his family and numerous friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife, Cyndi Spencer. Dallas is survived by his wife, brother, daughter and son-in-law Aaron Spencer, son, step-daughter, 3 grand sons, 3 grand daughters, great-grandson and great-grand daughter.
Dallas requested to not have a service and to be cremated. The family would like to express deep gratitude to the outpouring of support by his friends through this journey.
