Michael Leonard Rife of Pleasant Hill, Oregon passed away February 21st, 2024. He was 72 years old. Born in Mapleton Or. to William and Betty (Carpenter) Rife. He joined the U.S.M.C. in 1969 and served a total of six years in the military.
In 1970 he met Katherine June Rose and were married Dec !8th 1970 and spent 52 wonderful years together in which they had two son’s William Rife and Joshua Rife. He was a devoted family man who put his wife and children first. A loving grandfather. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved the outdoors. His other passion was woodworking. A natural handyman who fixed everything.
He is survived by his wife Katherine sons Will and Josh daughter-in-law Amy Rife. His grandchildren Isaac, Allison, Kaleb, and Madeline.
Funeral service is Saturday March 2nd at 1 p.m. at Grand Ronde cemetery in Grand Ronde, Oregon.
Services are in care of West Valley Funeral Home in Sheridan.
